Q:Hi there,I have signed a full athletic scholarship at Dodge City Community College in Kansas to begin in fall, and therefore require health insurance during my time in the US. I currently reside oustide of the USA, however was born in California and am a citizen and hold a valid American passport. This means I will not be applying for an international student visa, and so I am finding the health insurance difficult to finalise. I can see that my visa type is required as an international student, and as I will not be on a visa, I was hoping you could advise me on the best course of action to ensure I am properly insured before my departure.
